A flying rock hit the windscreen of an oncoming car at a busy motorway.

Dashcam footage shows the solid object the size of a baseball flicking from the edge of the road and knocking on the glass in Bangkok, Thailand, on May 15.

The shocked driver can be heard shouting as she was startled by the loud thud which left a shatter mark on the vehicle's front part, although no one was hurt.

Police investigated the incident and identified the person who threw the rock onto passing cars. He was taken to the station for questioning.

Driver Suwimon Wana said: 'It was so dark that night but when the authorities got involved we later found out that someone threw it onto us.'
