This is the hilarious moment a cheeky pet dog turned the tables on its owner and trapped him inside a cage.

Ah Jun was cleaning the enclosure of Cooper, his Golden Retriever pup, when the playful pooch shut the door while his owner was still inside in Taipei, Taiwan.

CCTV footage shows the man wiping the floor and the edge of the potty tray on January 14.

Moments later, the three-month-old canine used its nose to push the swing door shut before trotting around the cage, wagging its tail.

Ah Jun said: 'I am training Cooper to live inside the cage, but he is very naughty, and clearly smart enough to lock the door on me. Maybe it was his way of getting back at me because I wouldn't let him go out to play.'
