With the children stuck at home and growing restless, their dad decided to make the most of the weather. He piled snow into a long, smooth pathway, used a pan to shape and flatten the track, then poured hot water over it to create a slick, icy surface perfect for sliding. The result was a surprisingly sturdy, fast slide that turned their yard into a winter playground.
