A resident of the Chinese city of Chongqing has invented his own bizarre workout - walking in concrete shoes.

Mo Shulin, 49, claims he can walk for more than two hours wearing his 50 kilo concrete slabs.

Mo says he came up with idea as a quick fix of daily exercise and never imagined he would end up walking so far.

In fact, he's become so good at walking in his concrete shoes that he's had to add more weight.

"I started with 2.5 kilos and continued like that for two or three years. Then I added another 2.5 kilos."
