Heartwarming footage has emerged from China of dozens of local people rescuing ten dogs who got trapped in a building after it was demolished.

The footage, filmed in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province last Thursday, shows firefighters and normal people using their hands to try and rescue the dogs getting trapped in the rubble.

It took two days and two full nights but, in the end, ten dogs were freed and are said to be doing well.

The dogs were left in the building after their elderly owner was taken to hospital.

Ten dogs were rescued successfully by the kind-hearted people in two days and nights.

These dogs belonged to an elder, who just moved out of the demolished building.

The dogs couldn't move out in time because they feared of strangers and the elder was hospitalization at the same time. So they were trapped in the ruins.
