Shocking footage has emerged from the UK of brave bystanders stopping two alleged robbers from stealing a Ducati motorbike worth £40,000 in London.

The video, shot on Tuesday afternoon, shows two black-clad men wearing crash helmets apparently cutting through the metal lock on the Ducati with an angle grinder.

A bystander tries to confront the duo who were purportedly threatening everyone who was getting closer to them.

Then, as the thieves pull away, another man pushes the moped from behind, sending the stolen motorbike into the side of a passing van.

Finally, the suspect manages to escape with his accomplice on a scooter.

The police were called and arrived on the scene five minutes after the incident occurred.
