Drilling rig crew rescue turtle stuck in swirling current
A heartwarming video has emerged of a drilling rig crew helping out a turtle stuck in swirling current.
The footage, shot in October by one of the crew, shows the men catching the turtle to release it in the ocean away from the stream.
"While the jackup drilling rig Galveston Key is being towed from Abu Dhabi to India, the crew spotted a turtle trapped in the swirling current behind the rig," the filmer wrote online.
"The crew then made a plan to rescue the turtle and release it at a safe distance," he added.
