January Storms Continue
Large waves in the region of twenty five feet are battering the Cornish coast as yet another storm sweeps in off the Atlantic. At Portreath the iconic hut at the end of the pier was destroyed by the last storm. Whitewater breaks over the island at Godrevy Lighthouse (which was, incidentally, the inspiration for Virginia Woolf's book 'To the Lighthouse')
