Storm and Flooding at Lamorna Cove
Storm damage at Lamorna and road flooding from soaked field run off. Previous storms have destroyed the end of the pier at Lamorna Cove in south west Cornwall, breaking up parts of the car park and sending debris in to coastal cottage gardens. The swollen river cascades with water turned brown by the quantity of field water run-off. Fields and roads are flooded all over the area, but Cornish drivers nonchalantly plough on through the continuing weather mayhem as the next storm batters the coast.
