Dramatic footage has emerged from China of a woman making it to the other side of a bridge moments before it collapses and is washed away.

The incredible scene was captured in Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on August 14.

In the video a woman runs across the foot bridge as food waters rage beneath the rickety structure.

As she reaches the other side, the bridge tears away from the bank and is swept away by the river.

Footage has emerged of a woman narrowly avoiding falling into the flooded river from the collapsed bridge.

The video, filmed in Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on August 14, shows a woman running

across the flooded river on a bridge.

However, the bridge suddenly collapses when she just reaches the bank.
