Private Hire Drivers Protest In Leeds
Time lapse of travel chaos in Leeds City Centre after Private Hire Drivers staged a drive slow protest during rush hour. The protest was held after Private Hire Drivers have been complaining to Leeds City Council regarding fines for pulling up in bus stops & wanting to remove livery due to coming under attack by yobs. The protest took place under a police escort which started in a Supermarket Car Park in Kirkstall then along Kirkstall Road in to the city on a circular route before heading back to the supermarket to do another lap. The protest was held between 6am & 10am & was reported that numerous drivers were cautioned by the police for stopping traffic on purpose.
