Strong winds ripped a large metal shutter off its frame and sent it falling onto an intersection in Yongzhou City, Hunan Province, on July 25, injuring three passerbys.

This video captures the moment of the incident. Dashcam footage shows a shutter collapsing, slashing a tree and burying a scooter that had been driving on the road. The car from which the video stopped just in time and was not involved in the accident.

According to local media, the the shutter fell from the eighth floor of a building, the 90-square meter sheet crushing a family of three under it, including a five-year-old girl. A heavy-duty machine was used to cut apart the shutter and free the victims, who were then sent to a hospital.

20时50分，消防官兵到达现场。经勘查发现，有一块面积约90平方的彩钢铁皮棚，连接钢管、铁架一同被狂风吹飞，从8楼楼顶空降在马路中央，刚好砸中骑车经过的一家三口，其中还有一个5岁的小女孩，三人均被压在彩钢铁皮棚下。情况紧急，现场指挥员立即下令，利用切割机切割铁棚，一同抬起彩钢铁皮棚，并拉起警戒线，紧急疏散周边围观群众。

经过官兵们20多分钟的努力，成功救出被困的一家三口，并送上救护车。目前被砸伤的一家三口已无大碍。
