Man rescued by coastguard after going for a swim during storm

A man has been rescued while swimming in just his underpants in high seas during Storm Diana.

The incident happened in Mount's Bay, Cornwall in southwest England after someone spotted the man and called the RNLI.

The footage shows the man getting battered by large waves due to 75mph winds.

According to local reports, the man said he "just fancied going for a swim" and he refused help to start with from the coastguard.
