Three kind-hearted passersby rescued a driver after the car fell into a river in southwestern China.

The video, filmed in Zunyi City in Guizhou Province on March 23, shows a car suddenly speeding into a river as the driver was not familiar with the road and pressed the accelerator instead of the brake by mistake.

Nearby villagers can be seen running towards the scene and jumping into the river to save the driver.

According to reports, a group of people pulled the car onto the shore together and broke the car window with a stone to take the unconscious driver out.

The driver was not in life-threatening condition and the case was being investigated.

3月23日下午6点，湄潭县黄家坝街道沙坝居的康济桥边，一辆黑色小轿车突然加速，冲进了河里，目击这一幕后，过往路人纷纷跳入刺骨冰水中参与救援。
据了解，当天的气温只有6℃左右，路过此地的王开全看到事故后什么都没想，立刻脱掉外衣跳进了河里，游到小车旁边时，发现车头都已经在水里面了车窗紧闭司机已处于昏迷状态。
这时，旁边经过的陈海根、彭涛涛看见了这一情况后也跟着跳进了河里帮助王开全救人。

随后众人将绳子捆住车轮，岸上的群众一齐将车拉到岸边用石头砸开玻璃后成功将女司机救出。



据了解，该司机已脱离危险，具体情况正在进一步调查当中。
