Firefighters rescued two workers trapped on a flooded digger in southern China.

In the video, captured in Dujiangyan City in Sichuan Province on May 27, two workers stand on the arm of a digger as the cabin was submerged in a river.

Firefighters can be seen delivering the life-jacks to the two men on ropes and then dragging them back to shore.

According to reports, the reservoir discharged the water causing the water level suddenly increased when the two workers were doing cleaning and repair work on the river.

Police informed the upstream staff to turn down the discharge, then firemen brought the workers back to safety.

Fortunately, two workers were both alright.

被困的两名男子站在了桥下的小型挖掘机摆臂，挖掘机车身已经完全被河水淹没。
由于紫坪铺水库处于放水时间段，水位还在上升。两名被困人员情绪十分激动，不断向挖掘机摆臂的最高处缓慢移动，害怕水位上升淹没自己。
10时30分在民警的协调下，通知上游关小放水流量，准备展开营救工作。消防队员站在不远处向被困人员抛投一根绳索。两人抓住绳索后，消防队员随机将救生衣输送给两人，随后利用绳索，将两人拉回岸边。
两名被困人员系工人，在河内做河道清理工作，河水猛涨后，才导致被困于河中。
