A two-year-old girl was rescued after getting her finger stuck in a keyhole on a toilet door.

The mother and daughter went to the toilets after finishing their dinner at the restaurant in Bangkok, central Thailand, on Feb 16.

When the toddler was waiting for her mother to finish using the toilet, she played the doorknob and then accidentally got one of her fingers stuck inside.

The panicked toddler began crying while her mother tried to yank her finger free, without success.

Restaurant staff called for help and the rescue workers rushed to the scene to free the toddler's finger.

Footage shows the little girl crying for 'daddy' while five of the emergency teams used their strength to pull her fingers out of the jam.

Rescue officer, Jakchai, said: ''Young children like to put their fingers everywhere so there's always risks that they can have problems.

''I would never have thought that a child would have their fingers stuck in a keyhole. It was a very small gap but somehow she had her finger in there. It was difficult to free her because the metal moved inside.''
