A heroic driver risked his own life to drive a burning truck away from a busy urban area in northern China.

The video, shot in the city of Shenyang in Liaoning Province on July 14, shows a truck with its trunk engulfed in flames speeding along a road.

The grass curtains loaded on the trunk reportedly caught fire when the truck was repairing in an electric welding shop.

Since there was a petrol station was nearby, the heroic driver drove the truck away from the area.

Thanks to the truck driver, no casualties were reported. The fire was then put out by firefighters safely.

7月14日，辽宁沈阳，一货车车厢内的草帘在电焊时被点燃，车身燃起大火。因附近就是加油站，情况危急，司机开着“火车”冲出乡镇闹市，开到无人地带等待消防救援。随后火被消防员扑灭，大货车损毁严重，但无人员伤亡。一位知情人介绍，当时大货车正在电焊店修理，因温度较高引燃草帘。对面就是加油站，为了避免人员伤亡，司机才冒险把车开走。（视频由辽宁台提供）
