Fire personnel rescue people trapped after massive fire breaks out in seven-storey building in western India

A massive fire broke out in a seven-storey commercial-cum-residential building in western India’s Mumbai leaving several people trapped.

The incident took place on August 21 at the Raj Gaur Chamber building located near the Masjid Bunder suburban train station in south Mumbai.

Several fire tenders were rushed to the spot.

Visuals show fire brigade officials using an aerial ladder to rescue a lady trapped in the building. She is then accompanied down to safety.

According to Mumbai fire brigade officials, several people are feared trapped inside the building and rescue operations are still on.

No casualties or injuries were reported till the time of filing this report.
