The sky above Leeds was lit up this weekend by an amazing light show hosted by Leeds City Council as part of Light Night Leeds.
Laser Light City as it was known was a project by artist Seb Lee-Delisle that was an interactive laser show in which members of the public could take control of lasers from their smartphone. The lasers were installed on 7 landmarks in Leeds City Centre and was lit up each night from 22nd to 24th October between the hours of 6 & 11pm each night. The lasers could change shape and also change colour as each user had their own time slot to control them. The lasers could be seen from over 20 miles away in Ripon in North Yorkshire & Barnsley in South Yorkshire and were turned off for short periods while aircraft on final approach made their landings into Leeds Bradford International Airport.

The lasers were installed on the following buildings....

Parkinson Building, University of Leeds
Merrion House
Platform Building
Victoria Leeds Car Park
Wellington Place
Bridgewater Place
The Majestic
