Hundreds of tourists struggled to climb up the Great Wall covered by ice and snow in Beijing, China.
In the video filmed on November 21, when Beijing welcomed its first snow weather this year, many tourists attempted to climb up the Great Wall with their canes while holding onto the railings.
The Great Wall is already very steep and became more slippery with the ice and snow.
Some tourists who descended from the mountain simply chose to slide down the steep slope.
The staff of the Badaling Great Wall said that since the Great Wall is a cultural relic and they cannot use a snow-melting chemical spray, and tourists are urged to mind their safety and not to go to steep areas.
