Dramatic CCTV footage has emerged from China of a toddler miraculously surviving a fall from a third-floor balcony.

In the video, captured on a security camera in Zhejiang Province earlier this month, a large crowd of people gather on the street but fail to catch the falling child.

According to news reports, the three-year-old boy was playing alone on the balcony when the accident happened.

Fortunately he hit a window shelter on the first floor before reaching the ground, which meant he escaped the fall without any serious injuries.
