Huge chandelier violently swings during magnitude 5.6 earthquake in Indonesia
A huge chandelier violently swings during the magnitude 5.6 earthquake that hit Indonesia today (November 21).
The video was filmed in the guest waiting room of a textile factory in Kuningan, South Jakarta.
Noviena Novi, a textile office worker that captured this moment on camera, said that customers and staff immediately left the room and queued down using the elevator when they felt the earthquake.
"We were on the 17th floor of the Graha Irama building. The earthquake shaking was felt for more than a minute," the employee added.
According to the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), 62 people died and hundreds were injured.
More than 2,000 houses were damaged, including Islamic boarding schools, hospitals, government buildings, educational facilities, and places of worship.
