The protest action of residents in Central Lampung by bathing in a muddy puddle has gone viral on social media. The action was taken as a form of protest by the residents against the damaged road that has yet to be repaired by the local or provincial government. The video uploaded on social media shows several residents bathing in the muddy puddle on the damaged road.

The video mentions that the protest action took place in Rumbia District, Central Lampung. The video's narration also mentions that a water boom will be built in Rumbia, Central Lampung. However, the local residents feel that the damaged road that has not been repaired by the government is far more important than the plan to build a water boom.

One of the women seen in the video, named Mira, explained that the purpose of the content was to call on both the local and provincial governments. According to Mira, accidents often occur on the damaged road, such as trucks overturning. Therefore, Mira hopes that with this protest action, the government will immediately repair the damaged road so that no more people will become victims.

As of the time of writing, the Regent of Central Lampung, Musa Ahmad, has not provided a statement regarding the protest action. However, the video that has gone viral on social media has drawn public attention to the concerning condition of infrastructure in some areas in Indonesia. Hopefully, this protest action by residents can trigger a positive response from the government to repair the damaged road and improve the quality of infrastructure in remote areas.
