A funny video has emerged from Australia of a science enthusiast dad accidentally setting a tree on fire after he souped up his son's toy ball blower.

In the footage, filmed in New South Wales in May this year, the man can be shown demonstrating the turbo toy, which is shooting a flame out of the top.

However, it all goes wrong when the tree behind him ignites and goes up in flames.

The man's eldest son is filming the drama and laughs hysterically as it happens.

The Australian Larrikin Mad Scientist Dad is at it again. This footage shows the dad 'accidentally' setting fire to a tree when he demonstrates the toy ball blower which he has turbo'd up.
This toy has had a fan from a jumping castle installed, and blows out plain flour, which is then ignited, sending an erupting flame metres up into the air. 'Unfortunately' there are some trees behind him which are 'accidentally' ignited by the flames, much to the delight of his eldest son who is filming the drama.
