Slow-motion footage of a lemon creating a ball of fire
Awesome footage of a scientist and YouTuber using lemon-peel to create a mini fire ball.
The video, filmed in Australia yesterday, shows Jacob Strickling from the YouTube channel Make Science Fun lighting a match and placing it next to the rind of the lemon, creating a small explosion.
He later wrote online: "In this awesome footage a lemon peel is squeezed towards a the flame of a match.
"The oils in the rind, limonene, are highly flammable and burst into flame."
