Three women climb onto Jeep for photo shoot in China, causing £1,100 worth of damage
A Jeep owner was left open-mouthed in sheer disbelief after finding his vehicle covered in footprints and dents upon returning from a scenic area in northwestern China.
The man, who'd merely parked his rugged off-road vehicle at the entrance of the beauty spot to soak in the breathtaking view, was horrified to discover upon his return that his car had become a makeshift photo prop for three women.
Dashcam video filmed in Tacheng Prefecture in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on July 17 shows three women scrambling atop the engine hood of a Jeep to snap photographs.
The vehicle then had three dents and over twenty scratches. Wheel arches were marked with footprints, and the force used to climb on and off the hood even caused the wheel hub to loosen.
A local garage estimated that the unexpected photo session would set the car's owner back by over 10,000 yuan (around £1,100) for repairs.
The car owner has since reported the incident to the police, who are now conducting a thorough investigation.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
