STORYLINE:

The Belt and Road CEO Conference was held on Tuesday in Beijing. Foreign attendees have hailed the China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

"The positive impact has been very significant in many fields. Serbia has supported and been part of the Belt and Road Initiative since its beginning. Our overall collaboration has been on an upward trajectory. We have participated in the last decade. There have been over 60 projects within the BRI, currently ongoing about some 16 projects in Serbia. For the last two years, China had been the biggest foreign direct investor in Serbia. So (it brought) really numerous benefits."

"We are very blessed in Saudi Arabia to have a great partnership and the relationship with China, where we believe we have been supported from the initiative. More than 1,000 people, including government officials, representatives of int'l organizations and renowned entrepreneurs, attended the conference.
