A tourist captured a video revealing significant swaying of cable cars at the General Mountain Ski Resort in Altay, Xinjiang. There were passengers still aboard the cable cars during this unsettling incident.

Then the cable cars were promptly halted, ensuring the safety of passengers. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as visitors were securely disembarked once the situation stabilized.

Staff members at the resort explained that the recent cold weather, particularly strong winds, caused the cable cars to sway, and emphasized that operations were temporarily suspended during adverse weather conditions, stating, "in these past few days, the cable cars for night skiing haven't been in operation."

The video was filmed on December 15th and provided with permission from local media.
