Police officers took action against two teen motorcyclists for reckless fireworks assault on pedestrians in southern China.

The video was filmed in the city of Shantou in Guangdong Province on January 2.

Two young men were spotted riding a motorcycle and setting off fireworks along the road, targeting the riders. One of the fireworks hit a passing motorcycle, causing the rider to lose balance and fall to the ground. The perpetrators, seemingly unfazed, continued riding and spraying fireworks towards other pedestrians.

Upon receiving the report, the police promptly initiated an investigation. Both involved individuals, who were underage, were apprehended. They were subsequently administratively punished according to the law, with their parents being instructed to enforce strict discipline. The fallen motorcyclist suffered no major injuries.

1月3日，当地警方通报称：2日20时48分，警方接群众报警称，金平区华山路与东厦路交界处有两名男子驾乘摩托车朝沿途路人燃放烟花，致一辆同向行驶的摩托车失衡倒地。
接报后，警方第一时间开展调查，于22时许将该两名涉事男子（均为未成年人）抓获，依法予以行政处罚，并责令家长、通报学校严加管教。失衡倒地男子并无大碍。
