Motorists miraculously survive as 49-tonne coal truck crushes car in China
Motorists miraculously survived as a 49-tonne coal truck crushed their car in northern China.
The CCTV footage was filmed in the city of Xinzhou in Shanxi Province on March 6.
A coal-carrying truck, weighing a staggering 49 tons, toppled over while negotiating a turn, crashing heavily onto a parked car. The impact was devastating, leaving the vehicles severely damaged, with the truck's cabin twisted out of shape.
Luckily, three people in the car managed to survive the ordeal virtually unscathed. Despite the deformation of the cabin, the doors remained operational, allowing the occupants to escape to safety in the nick of time.
According to Mr. Jian, the owner of the vehicle, he and one of the passengers emerged from the wreckage without a scratch, while another suffered only minor muscle strain.
The case is under investigating. The video was provided by local media with permission.
