STORYLINE:

An Egyptian expert has highlighted China's pursuit of the new quality productive forces, noting that Egypt's Vision 2030 and China's new quality productive forces greatly enhance the opportunities for bilateral cooperation and contribute to attracting mutual investments in different sectors.

SOUNDBITE (Arabic): AHMED AL-HUSSEINI, Researcher at the Faculty of African Studies of Cairo University
"The Chinese government is creating a new concept for productive forces that targets the transformation from mass production and 'Made in China' concepts to 'Innovated in China.'
China is trying to improve the quality of its products to gain greater credibility in the global market.
Egypt's Vision 2030 is a mirror of the Chinese perspective toward new productive forces.
Egypt's Vision 2030 prioritizes modern, renewable industries and modern technology, incorporating mechanization in manufacturing as well as renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind power. We observe that China has made significant investments in this sector in Egypt.
Egypt has also begun to enter the electric car manufacturing field effectively in cooperation with various Chinese companies.
This cooperation aligns with Egypt's Vision 2030 implementation and corresponds with the Chinese vision regarding new quality productive forces and the Belt and Road Initiative, which succeeded in spreading China's vision to many Asian and African countries."
