Driver presses accelerator by mistake and reverses into restaurant
A bizarre video has emerged from China of a car reversing into a restaurant because the driver allegedly pressed the accelerator by mistake.
The CCTV footage, captured in Chongqing last Tuesday, shows a car smashing the glass door of the restaurant as it reverses.
The restaurant owner can be seen rushing inside the restaurant to avoid being hit by the car.
According to local news, the driver pressed the accelerator instead of the brake by mistake.
A customer was reportedly injured by the smashed glass door.
The driver and the restaurant owner are said to be negotiating the compensation.
