A scary video has emerged of a gorilla attacking a group of tourists in Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda, Africa.

The footage, captured on September 2016, shows a huge Silverback charging across the grass and knocking down two men on the floor whilst the others manage to escape.

''While on a gorilla trek in Volcanoes Nation Park in Rwanda we were trekking a gorilla family on the slopes of the volcanos. The slope was very steep and we were all trying to get a view of the family as they were feeding,'' the filmer later wrote online.

''The silverback decided that he wanted to get the other side of the guests and gave a mock charge and the guests lost their footing and started to roll down the hill.''

''The guide grabbed the one guest and they went toubling down with the silverback chasing after them,'' he continued.

''The silverback grabbed the guides arm, as he still held onto the guest and the gorilla calmed and carried on eating as the two of them slipped out from under the gorillas nose,'' he added.
