Bizarre footage has emerged from China of the police pulling over a driver who was wiping his windscreen by hand.

The video, which was captured in Chongqing on August 13, shows the driver reaching out of the window to push and pull a stick which is attached to the windscreen wiper.

The driver was fined and deducted three points from his license, according to local media.

Footage has emerged of a man using his hand to control the broken windscreen wiper while he is driving on motorway in China.

The video, captured in Chongqing on August 13, shows the driver using his one hand to hold the stick tied on the wiper out of the car window and move to clean the rain on the windscreen, when he is driving.

Because the wiper suddenly broke down, the driver adapted it into the manual one.

The car was stopped by police, while the driver was fined and deducted three points.
