This hilarious CCTV footage shows the moment two teenage girls carried a stolen sculpture of a pig - weighing the same as a nine-year-old child - through a city centre.

The pig, weighing 66lbs, vanished from the centre of a Christmas maze on Sunday night.

It was covered in a collage of wrapping paper and tinsel by artist Russell Haines, after being part of a previous art trail in the centre of Gloucester, Glos.

The statue was on display as part of the Henson Pig Trail across the city, but was decorated to become the centre piece of the maze in King’s Square.
