Pig rescues friend moments before slaughter

This is the remarkable moment a pig appears to rescue its friend from the slaughterer's knife.
In the clip, which was filmed in Chongqing, China on December 25, two men prepare to slaughter a squealing pig, when suddenly a second porker runs straight at the men, who jump back in fright and release the first pig.
The hero pig appears to be keeping the slaughterers at bay when the video cuts out.
Sadly there's no information on how long this reprieve lasted or the nature of the relationship between the two piggy pals.
