A severe dust storm hit Bhopal city in India yesterday (February 11) making life difficult for commuters and local residents.

Footage showed clouds of dust sweeping through the city and battering pedestrians.

No injuries were reported, according to local media.

With a slight dip in the temperature, dark clouds loomed over the city of lakes "Bhopal" followed by sudden dust storms and thundershowers. After this abrupt change in the weather condition, the commuters and pedestrians were the most affected ones. Rains followed the storm and the timing matched perfectly with the weekend as the droplets cleansed the city to make it look greener and cleaner. Reportedly, Bhopal is the second cleanest city of India in 2017 as per a survey conducted by the Quality Council of India.
