A bucket of silkworm pupae used as snacks turned into moths because of warm temperatures in southern China.

In the video, captured in Haikou in the Hainan Province on February 25, shows several silkworm pupae that transformed into big moths in a woman's house.

According to local reports, the woman's parents brought the silkworm pupae to her as snacks for drinking during Chinese New Year.

However, she didn’t eat them in time, and they turned into moths in the warm temperature.

She ended up releasing them.
