Woman is re-united with dog that was missing for 20 days (part 2)
This is the emotional moment a young woman was reunited with her dog 20 days after the pooch ran away.
In the video, the dog’s owner is in tears as she sees her pet in the back of a minivan. The boot of the vehicle is opened and the dog is delighted to see her owner again. The two share a cuddle as the dog waves her tail gladly.
The dog, named Molly, had been found on the street by a group of friends as they left the bar in the Colombian capital, Bogota.
The rescue came about after local girl, Puyana, found the dog and was about to take it to a rescue home when she received a call.
The girl calling was Katerine, who had lost her dog Molly 20 days before and had seen Puyana’s post on social media.
Katerine sent photos of her lost dog to Puyana, who confirmed it was the same animal she had rescued. The owner and the dog were reunited.
Puyana said: "Molly survived hunger, cars, thirst and the indifference of many people. There were so many coincidences that had to happen for her to return home, her fate seemed black and with no way out. But all those coincidences happened. And that is the most similar thing to a miracle."
