Philippines car owner turns his Toyota into KITT from 'Knight Rider'
A car owner in the Philippines has modified his Toyota in a "Knight Rider"-style with flashing lights for stop, go, left, right and hazards.
The owner wired up the funky system to his otherwise average Toyota Fortuner. He is heard showing them off outside his home in Lapu-Lapu City, Philippines, on April 18 at 6pm.
"Stop! Go!" says the owner as the "intelligent" car flashes red, then green, following his instructions.
"Left signal, right signal," he says - and the car flashes its left signal and then left signal accordingly.
"Knight Rider" was a 1980s TV series that starred David Hasselhoff in which his character, crime fighter Michael Knight, drove KITT, a souped-up Pontiac Trans-Am that could reach 300 miles per hour.
