Incredible moment plane crash-lands on US highway
This the incredible moment a man walks away from the wreckage after crash-landing his plane on a US highway.
Video captured on May 22 on the I-90 in Montana shows the moment a small aircraft slammed into the tarmac in an incident that left the shaken pilot with nothing but a cut on his hand.
The filmer claims he saw a shadow of a plane travelling over his car but could not immediately see a plane.
He added: "Approximately four to five miles later I notice what looked to be a glider flying low over the freeway.
"He continued to follow the freeway up through the canyon. I thought this was odd as I've never seen a glider in this area before.
"I continued to follow the plane it continued to go lower and lower."
After the plane hits the tarmac, the filmer and another driver head over to assist the pilot.
"We asked him to look at us to check if he was in shock.
"He said he was OK, stood up in the cockpit and walked to the k-rail."
Footage of the wreckage of the plane shows that its nose has been completely destroyed and one of the wings had also been snapped.
According to local reports, the pilot was taken to hospital but it thought to be largely unharmed.
