Armed police hunt a "gunman" who turned out to be hippy playing didgeridoo
This is the bizarre moment armed police were scrambled to a park to search for a "gunman" – which turned out to be a hippy with a DIDGERIDOO. Mark Sleigh, 39, had finished practicing playing the homemade Aboriginal instrument when he was stopped as he drove home. Cops swooped on his car, took the keys out of the ignition and ordered him to “drop his weapon” before realising the rifle was in fact a 4ft-long white plastic pipe. The dad-of-one posed for a selfie with the laughing officers following the bizarre incident which happened last Tuesday (12/6) night in Sutton Park, Sutton Coldfield, West Mids.
