Dozens of dead fish washed up on Halkidiki shore in Greece
Dozens of dead fish were washed out on a beach in Kryaritsi on the second leg of Halkidiki. Surprised, the bathers saw the freshwaters around them suddenly filling with dead fish that brought the stream out of the open, and for quite a while most people came out of the sea. Some people started collecting the fish in bags or on the rocks, but the current continued to bring even more and the possibility of something poisoned them started commented on the beach. It is unknown were all this fisha really came from. Also on the open and adjacent beaches the appearance of flocks of gulls, shows that the same situation prevailed and elsewhere.
