Two girls fall into pit covered by floodwater
Two girls trying to cross a flooded road accidentally fell into a pit in central China.
In a CCTV video, filmed in Shangqiu City in Henan Province on August 18, a girl carries her companion in an attempt to cross a submerged road
But they only take a few steps before suddenly dropping into a pit.
Two men from the nearby shop run to pull them out immediately.
According to reports, typhoon Rumbia brought storms and floods to the city.
The pit was a heating pipeline construction site, which did not have any warning signs around it.
Fortunately, the girls only suffered scratches.
