A brush fire erupted outside of Murrieta, Riverside County, on Sunday, August 19, prompting road diversions as the blaze burned close to a nearby freeway.
According to local media, the fire was reported at around 3:50 pm near Interstate 215 and Scott Road. 90 firefighters and 13 engines responded to the scene.
This video, shared to Facebook by Natalia Bracco Lopez from near Loma Linda Murrieta Hospital, shows a helicopter dropping water on the flames.
