07/25/2024 02:10 pm (GMT-0700) | LOMA LINDA, Calif. – Location: 24000 block of Lawton Avenue in Loma Linda (San Bernardino).

At 2:10 p.m. San Bernardino County Fire received a call for a brush fire. Fire Crews responded to the area and noticed a hillside was on fire. At this time fire command requested air support to assist the fire fighters on the ground.

Evacuations were ordered on Lawton Ave.

Two water dropping helicopters and one fixed winged aircraft responded to the scene. At this time the forward rate of progress of this fire has been stopped. Several structures were threatened. Unknown if any structures were burned.
