Breathtaking POV clip shows kayaker run 100-foot waterfall
This is the breathtaking moment a kayaker paddled off a 105-foot (32-meter) waterfall in Canada.
The spectacular action camera video shows German kayaker Adrian Mattern run the Alexandra Falls located on the Hay River in the Northwest Territories on August 11.
In the video, Mattern paddles into the middle of the river to find the perfect channel to make his approach to the falls.
He then simply surrenders to gravity, capturing the breathtaking view from the top as he begins to drop.
The video goes black as Mattern plunges into the water below but he quickly emerges unharmed and elated by his remarkable achievement.
