Cheeky monkey attempts to drive bus in India
A bus driver from Bangalore is in very hot water as officials are investigating the man after a video emerged of him letting a monkey steer his bus last Monday (October 1).
The footage shows the Indian Langur Monkey sitting on the steering wheel and trying to guide the moving vehicle.
The driver sits with the monkey in his lap, helping out by working the peddles and giving it a hand with steering.
Officials said the monkey was a pet belonging to one of the passengers and was comfortable in human company.
It is not believed that the bus had any difficulties in completing its route with the monkey 'driving'.
