Monkey climbs car, extorts food from holiday-goers in southern India
Holiday-goers were in for a stimulating experience, when a monkey climbed the hood of a car while trying to extort food from the passengers in southern India's Karnataka.
The visual came out of Mudumalai Tiger Reserve Road adjacent to Bandipur forest on September 12.
The monkey can be seen perched on the front windscreen while trying to grab a packet of snacks.
The person in the driver's seat shows the food to the primate while it fails to grab it due to the closed windows.
It kept leaping from one side of the car to the other, desperate to reach the packet.
However, every time it tries to grab the package the window offers resistance to its grips.
The car moves slowly while the monkey holds on to the window and sits tight.
After some time the left window of the vehicle is slid down and the monkey finally grabs the packet.
In a moment, it jumps to the roadside, sits on a pole and happily munches on the newly acquired gift.
