A woman has died after being involved in a car crash on the M25 yesterday (March 27) near Kings Langley.

The collision involved two cars and a truck. Hertfordshire Police released a statement today (March 28) saying: "A woman, aged in her 80s, sadly died as a result of her injuries. A man, also aged in his 80s, sustained serious injuries and he remains in hospital at this time."

In the video, shot around 2:00pm on Wednesday, we can see emergency services working on site, long queues of vehicles and drone footage showing the M25 closed and traffic jams on alternative roads.

The accident occurred at junction 20 near Kings Langley. The highway was closed clockwise between junction 19 and 21.

There were significant delays on the roads and the motorway was closed for several hours.

A subtitled version of this video was sent to clients yesterday (March 27).
